1.) Verify that the Recorder service is running. To do so, open the Recorder Monitor and on the right side of the menu it should say Recorder Running.
- If it is running, restart the service. To do so, right-click the status text - stop the service. Once it says Recorder STOPPED, repeat the steps to turn the Recorder back on.
- If it is not running, start the service. To do so, right-click the status text - start the service.
2.) Check the voice card. Is the green light on?
- If it is on, then reboot the computer.
- If it is not on, then plug the device into a different USB port (you may have to run Found New Hardware wizard like you did with the initial installation). Reboot the computer.
3.)
- If the green light is not on after rebooting, contact your local Voice Solutions dealer.
- If the green light is on after rebooting, verify that the cables are securely connected to the voice card's Line jacks. If telephone lines are being used, test the lines for a dial tone with a standard phone. If you do not receive a dial tone, contact your phone provider.
